Working with Spinifex once more, we developed a website for a ski area in Canterbury. This uses the SilverStripe CMS, allowing for a lot of versatility on my part combined with ease of use for the clients.
Another site done in conjunction with a graphic designer. This design comes from the mind of Sam Worsp of Spinifex. This site is for a farmstay who specialize in visitors from Japan. The biggest challenge with this site was that half of it had to be in Japanese.
Simple Social is my latest foray into the realms of user submitted content. After getting frustrated by Facebook's constant suggestions and notifications about this or that pointless piece of frippery, I decided to create my own social networking site that would cut down on stupid applications and other social networking based irritations. The result: Simple Social.
For my industry project at Natcoll, I was approached by a graphic designer named Andrew Hey. He wanted a portfolio website to show off his works of art. This website was based around the idea that a portfolio site should show off the art with as little distraction by the design as possible.
This was an attempt to create a virtual pet in flash. Another Natcoll project, I used this site to display my skills at programming. Despite some rather daunting setbacks (Flash doesn't act right, sometimes), it came out rather well.
